Accessibility

Last reviewed: 6 November 2026

We want everyone to be able to use intrebit.com, whatever they read it with. We build it to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and at our last review we found nothing that falls short of it. This page is about intrebit.com itself; the sites we build for clients have their own.

How we check it

Every page is opened in light and dark mode, at desktop and phone width, and worked through with the keyboard alone. We zoom each one in until it fits a narrow column, and turn on the wider letter, word and line spacing some readers set for themselves. We measure the contrast of every colour used for text and form fields, and the size of every link and button.

We also check what each page gives a screen reader to read, though we haven't yet listened to the site with one.

Moving things

There are a few moving touches: rain on the home page when it's raining in Dublin, a headline that types itself once, and our addresses taking turns in the header on a phone. They all stop if your device is set to reduce motion. The Effects switch stops them on this site alone: it sits in the bottom-left corner on a computer and at the foot of the menu on a phone. Nothing on the site flashes.

Tell us

If something on the site doesn't work for you, write to andrej@intrebit.com with the page and what you were trying to do.

The clock beside our logo is the time in Dublin, where we work.
